Now’s the time to get involved and prepare to celebrate three unforgettable days of fun in the heart of Young, the Cherry Capital of Australia. Host a market stall, join the beloved parade, volunteer your time or partner with us to help make the magic happen. However you take part, you’ll be helping bring this much-loved celebration to life, filling the streets of Young with enthusiasm and community pride.

THE MULTICULTURAL CHERRY FIESTA IS BACK!
Following last year’s success, the 2026 National Cherry Festival welcomes back the Multicultural Cherry Fiesta! A special opening night celebration in the heart of Young on Friday 4 December.
The Multicultural Cherry Fiesta will transform Boorowa Street into a vibrant evening of global flavours, live entertainment and cherry-filled fun. Expect international food fair, cherries, roaming cultural performers, family-friendly amusement rides and fireworks lighting up the sky.
We’re calling for entertainers, performers, food vendors and cultural artists to join the fiesta, your involvement will help bring this unforgettable night to life.

Make the Cherry Fiesta even more memorable! We invite all attendees to dress up for the occasion – whether it’s traditional attire, folklore costumes, national flag colours and more.

FRIENDLY COMPETITION
Register for the Cherry Pie Eating and Pip Spit competitions on the day, 15-30 minutes before they start. Times will be confirmed in the program.
