The countdown to the National Cherry Festival has begun! This December, we celebrate 75 years of festival cheer with three unforgettable days of fun in the heart of Young, the Cherry Capital of Australia. This year, we have special events planned to mark this amazing milestone. It’s set to be one for the history books!
Now’s the time to get involved. Host a market stall, join the beloved parade, volunteer your time or partner with us to help make the magic happen. However you take part, you’ll be helping bring this much-loved celebration to life, filling the streets of Young with colour, energy and community pride.

INTRODUCING THE MULTICULTURAL CHERRY FIESTA!
To launch the 75th National Cherry Festival in spectacular style, we’re throwing a special opening night celebration in the heart of Young on Friday 5 December.
The Multicultural Cherry Fiesta will transform Boorowa Street into a vibrant evening of global flavours, live entertainment and cherry-filled fun. Expect cherry cooking demonstrations, an international food fair, roaming cultural performers, family-friendly amusement rides and fireworks lighting up the sky.
We’re calling for entertainers, performers, food vendors and cultural artists to join the fiesta. Whether you’re on stage, roaming the crowd or serving something delicious, your involvement will help bring this unforgettable night to life.

The 2025 Multicultural Stallholder Application has been released. Please submit your application before Saturday 27 September 2025.
DRESS TO EXPRESS
Make the Cherry Fiesta even more memorable! We invite all attendees to dress up for the occasion – whether it’s traditional attire, folklore costumes, national flag colours or more.

The 75th National Cherry Festival Partnership Prospectus (2025) has been released. Please note: Deadline for the sponsorship form is Thursday 31 July 2025.
STALLHOLDERS
The 2025 Stallholder Application for Saturday & Sunday has been released. Please submit your application before Saturday 11 October 2025.

The 2025 Street Parade Application has not been released yet. An announcement will be made on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
FRINGE EVENTS

FRIENDLY COMPETITION
Register for the Cherry Pie Eating and Pip Spit competitions on the day, 15-30 minutes before they start. More details to come.
