Get Involved

Be part of our community

The National Cherry Festival is a true community event with a long-standing history.

As one of the Hilltops Region’s key events, it is a wonderful opportunity for local businesses, schools, clubs and community organisations to get involved.

A festival of this size cannot run without the continued support of the business community. Businesses benefit in the long term from the arrival of thousands of visitors to Young and the Hilltops Region each year during the National Cherry Festival.

Your support through financial sponsorship is vital to the continuation of this highly successful community event. Our sponsorship packages offer many different options suited to all budgets.

Street Parade

The Cherry Festival Street Parade is iconic and a favourite with locals and visitors alike. Local businesses, community based organizations, marching bands, schools, educational institutions, classic car clubs, religious organizations and social and hobby groups from the Hilltops Region are encouraged to apply. Other groups considered by application.

To enter, please read the Terms and Conditions document and sign completed Application Form. We also require a copy of your current Public Liability Insurance and a completed Risk Assessment Form (optional but encouraged).
