The National Cherry Festival is a true community event with a long-standing history.
As one of the Hilltops Region’s key events, it is a wonderful opportunity for local businesses, schools, clubs and community organisations to get involved.
STREET PARADE
The Cherry Festival Street Parade is iconic and a favourite with locals and visitors alike. Local businesses, community based organizations, marching bands, schools, educational institutions, classic car clubs, religious organisations and social and hobby groups from the Hilltops Region are encouraged to apply. Other groups considered by application.
To enter, please complete the form by clicking on the Street Parade image. We also require a copy of your current Public Liability Insurance and a completed Risk Assessment Form.

BUSKING
Are you a musician ready to share your talent? The National Cherry Festival is inviting buskers to perform on the streets during this vibrant celebration! Whether you play guitar, sing, or bring a unique musical style, we want you to be part of the lively atmosphere.
Join us as we transform the festival into a celebration of music and cherry-themed fun! This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with festival-goers, share your passion, and connect with fellow artists in a dynamic setting.
